Hi, I'm Purnima. Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, where the cracks become the most beautiful part. I fell in love with that idea and made it my own. Instead of pottery and lacquer, I work in cut fabric and gold foil. I call this style “Gilded Fabric Kintsugi”. You won't find it taught anywhere else, and it's the heart of The Pop-Up Palette.
